We want to train up the next generation in the word of God. Wednesday night is a Bible study night to help us to live a victorious life in Jesus Christ. When life's pitfalls come, it's not the bowling team that can help, it's the Word of God (Jesus) that brings relief. Isaiah 59:19 "When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him."

We are all waiting for some new thing to come along, going from church to church looking for a new word.
We get complacent because the preacher can't come up with the right program or enough activities. The
message of Jesus Christ is still the same, 2 Corinthians 5:19 " To wit that God was in Christ, reconciling the
world unto Himself." That's the Gospel. We have tried so many ways to win people, different fads, games and
other things, and the only things that remained were the fads. An old saying is "the proof is in the puddin." The
Bible says " you will know them by their fruit." Studies show that 75% of young people will leave the church
after graduation, that is our fruit. Over 70% of marriages end in divorce. Our young people, and old alike, do
not know how to commit. It is time we taught people that there will be storms in life, but the one that goes
through the storm comes out stronger. Psalm 66:12 "We went through fire and through water: but you brought
us out into a wealthy place." Instead of looking for someone to give to you maybe we could start giving to
others what Jesus has done for us. Let's get planted and get busy for God.
